Retro Red Pyrex & Phoenix

I love red that has blue undertones. In the weekend I had a bit of a road trip. Part of the garden was at the stage where it was too green and needed some colour. There is a great stall out of town that sells plants that have been grown outside and have great resilience. And along the way are two op shops in a smaller township. It was at one of these op shops that I found a red Phoenix glass bowl.

View out my kitchen window at first light today.
The very back garden is flourishing.
Pyrex collected over the years.

We also discovered a whole paddock of hydrangeas that had a sign to feel free to pick a bunch.
I love vintage glass with one colour. Home this bowl/ casserole Phoenix glass came and first salad served in it last night.
A small ice cream dish that holds a remote.

What’s on my kitchen table this morning.
